to whomever may read this, i have been writing since i was 5 years old. whether stories, poetry, songs, or more, i have always put pen to paper and created worlds out of thin air. i've been utilizing this website for about 3 years now to publish my work and give my audience something to hold at night when the shadows in the corners of your room are ominously lurking. and now, it is coming to an end. when i was 15, i met my best friend, grant. there was nothing grant and i couldn't do when together. my favorite collaborator, my muse, editor, co-author, and lyricist. grant and zora were an unstoppable creative force. there was nothing we couldn't do with a notebook and sometimes a guitar. grant is the one who nicknamed me "nenna." grant is the one who changed my life, and me, for the better. we lost grant in april of 2024. nothing has been the same since then. grant always pushed me to keep writing, keep publishing, do more and more with my words, force people to listen. losing grant pushed me to publish project 405, but also had a detrimental effect on my writing and my mental health. in a world without grant, life has been harder and sadder. there is no words in the english language to convey my grief. that being said, i believe it is time for me to, at the very least, take a break. the next words in my project will be the last from me for awhile. hopefully, this letter provides closure for you all, as it certainly provides me relief in sharing the story of my best friend. grant was a co-author on some of my work, and now you can read all of our poetry on this site. i love you all, always and forever. this isn't goodbye, just a "see you later." yours forever, nenna ð“…ª
